Re-creation of 1872 Map of Salisbury

The map above prominently shows Salisbury railroad branches around 1872. The railroad transported many passengers through Salisbury Sq. to Amesbury, Newburyport, Seabrook, NH, and beyond. After 1872 railroad lines were extended from the Beach Center to Black Rocks on the Merrimack River. A line to Haverhill was add later.
